Developed on the basis of our successful inspection machine, Pouch Inspector. The light version is more compact, simply equipped and has an attractive purchase price. Furthermore, she does exactly the same as her big sister; Accurately inspect medication pouches.
Pouch Inspector Light is a self-contained compact and very user-friendly inspection machine that inspects packaged medication by an Automated Drug Distribution system for correct contents. The inspection takes place on the basis of the ordered medication and patient information. All results are digitally documented for further processing and reference.
Start right away
Just like the Pouch Inspector, Pouch Inspector Light is equipped with IMM (Inprocess Model Manager technology). This ensures that without first learning all the medication, inspecting can be started immediately.
A loose strip or roll of medication pouches is placed on the Pouch Inspector Light. The inspection immediately starts at a speed of 1.5 pouches per second (90 pouches per minute).
The content of each pouch is automatically compared to the patient’s prescribed prescription. The status of each pouch is immediately displayed on the screen. Wrong, unknown, surplus and/or missing medication is flagged without process interruption and automatically integrated into the analysis. All results are stored in the database. Alerted pouches from a batch can then be manually checked, repaired (if necessary) and re-inspected before the batch is approved for dispensing.
